The “occupation” in occupational therapy doesn’t refer to where you are employed. Instead, OTs help people perform the everyday routines and activities which occupy our time and promote a healthy, happy life when they get disrupted by injury, disability, or mental illness. In addition to hand and arm injuries, Paul is especially interested in behavioral treatment of insomnia and the use of time diaries to promote meaningful use of time.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, Paul was lucky enough to marry a Montana native and eventually settled in Anaconda. In his spare time, Paul enjoys spending time with his family in the outdoors, especially hiking and skiing. On winter weekends you can find him making turns at Discovery, trying in vain to perfect the art of the telemark technique.
