Bio:
Dr. Josh Timock is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and has been advocating for and helping children and families for over 20 years. He received his medical degree from the University of Kansas and completed residency training at the University of Arizona. During his career he has practiced pediatric emergency and urgent care medicine in regional pediatric medical center settings, has provided pediatric inpatient care, and has practiced outpatient pediatric primary care in both suburban and rural settings. Dr. Timock especially enjoys the personalized and preventative aspects of healthcare made possible by pediatric primary care. His practice philosophy is very patient- and family-centered, focuses on the application of evidence-based medicine and best practices to optimize health and wellness, and incorporates detailed and thoughtful care plans.
"I'm a believer in an old-fashioned approach to listening and communicating well and to collaborating with families, coupled with attention to the most up-to-date information in pediatric medicine and comprehensive care," he shares. “Quality of patient care and integrity-based approaches mean everything to me, and I strive to take the very best care of every patient and family I meet and get to know. I also very much encourage patients and families to actively participate in their healthcare experience."
Dr. Timock was raised in the rural outskirts of Kansas City and has been living and adventuring in Montana since 2018. "I grew up surrounded by ranches, farms, and wooded hills. This valley and the local communities have a similar feel, with the welcome addition of mountains! I completely understand why my great-uncle chose to ranch and train horses not very far from here, outside Helena.” Dr. Timock is an active outdoorsman and when not serving patients and families spends much of his time exploring Montana rivers, mountains, and wilderness areas with his dog, friends, and family.
