Occupational Therapy

Emmy Bishop was raised in Deer Lodge and is excited to serve her hometown community. She earned her doctorate in occupational therapy from the University of North Dakota. During her graduate training, she completed clinical rotations in Sheridan, Wyoming, at an outpatient therapy clinic, and in Bozeman, Montana, within the local school district.

She is certified in LSVT BIG, a research-based program that helps people with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions improve movement, balance and daily function through high-amplitude, purposeful exercises.

Emmy was part of the inaugural Med-Ahead internship program at Deer Lodge Medical Center while attending Powell County High School during the 2018-19 school year. She is an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Montana Occupational Therapy Association.
Outside of work, Emmy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and watching sports — especially football.
