Niall Atkinson, FNP

Niall Atkinson, FNP, is a dual board-certified family and emergency nurse practitioner who provides care in the Emergency Department. With more than 30 years of emergency care experience, he feels at home in the fast-paced environment of emergency medicine. He has a particular interest in rural trauma and preventive care and serves as the trauma director.

Niall has treated a broad range of cases across hospitals of varying sizes and settings. He prioritizes patient-centered care, tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs.

He uses a shared decision-making approach, focusing on clear communication and involving patients in their care plans. He believes effective patient care is a team effort and values strong collaboration with both patients and staff.
