TeleBurn

Accessing treatment quickly is vital when having a burn. Burn patients at Deer Lodge Medical Center have access to medical professionals at University of Utah Health’s Burn Center through TeleBurn.

TeleBurn utilizes the use of technology and videoconferencing to connect burn patients to 24-hour on-call burn experts at University of Utah Health, the only verified burn center in a five-state region.

The ability to communicate immediately allows providers from both organizations to work together to determine the diagnosis and best treatment for each burn patient.

The TeleBurn Program allows providers and patients to overcome geographic boarders, transportation barriers and unpredictable roadblocks with reliable technology that immediately connects the patients at Deer Lodge Medical Center to experienced burn specialists.
